Senior Systems Administrator - Warriors (Oakland, CA)
About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for an innovative, customer service focused Senior Systems Administrator to primarily support the day-to-day operations of our Windows Active Directory domain and Microsoft SCCM environment. This individual will be a key contributor to the team responsible for helping develop and support the technology strategy for the Warriors current Oakland HQ and future San Francisco site.
The IT team owns the IT customer experience by making sound decisions and developing solutions to IT issues. You proactively identify trends to provide prescriptive advice. You grasp the big picture issues and provide appropriate recommendations and solutions and share knowledge to develop best practices. You apply judgment, past experience, and analysis in decision-making and resolving complex issues that impact the business. You are dedicated to protecting network systems and user data and you do not take short cuts that compromise cyber-security best practices.
This is a full-time position and is based in Oakland, CA.
Manage Windows Active Directory domain, roles and services
Manage Microsoft SCCM environment
Manage Microsoft Windows servers and Hyper-V virtual servers
Create, install and maintain Windows and Mac workstation operating system (Windows 7 & 10, Mac OSX) workstation images
Support GSW’s Microsoft Office 365 services
Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) System (AirWatch)
Provide ShoreTel system, phone setup and support
Provide high quality end user support services including prioritizing mission critical and non-mission critical issues
Document and track all work orders in the service desk DB to assure quality service
Understand and enforces technical support escalation procedures internally, as well as with outside vendors and service providers
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant business/technical discipline
5+ years of experience administering a Windows Active Directory domain that supports Windows and Mac workstations.
5+ year experience supporting Windows Server (2008 / 2012 / 2016)
3+ years managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
3+ year experience supporting Windows Hyper-V
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
Experience with Powershell scripting
Experience with VoIP phone system support (ShoreTel preferable)
Knowledge of and adherence to network and data security best practices.
Knowledge of TCP/IP network components and their functions.
Knowledge of single-sign on (SSO) administration (e.g. OKTA)
Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration (e.g. Airwatch, Mobile Iron)
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with users to determine requirements and manage user expectations

Ability to carry equipment of various sizes (computer monitors, laptops, boxes, etc.) for long distances and up/down stairs
The Part-Time Production Assistant will support the Warriors Studio Team and the Oracle Arena Control Room crew in the production of video content and live events coverage at multiple locations. Production Assistants will also assist with the miscellaneous technical and production projects within the Warriors Studio department for the 2017-2018 NBA season.
This is a seasonal part-time position and is located in Oakland, CA.
Assist production crew during Warriors games at Oracle Arena
Setup cameras and control room production equipment
Operate control room production equipment
Clean up and return production equipment after games
Assist studio team at Golden State Warriors Executive Offices
Assist in various video shoots such as practices and press conferences
Create Motion Graphics and edit video upon request
Understanding of video production workflows
Working knowledge of nonlinear editing software
Knowledge of AVID and Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Premier Pro) is a must
Flexible availability and capable of travel to various job sites
Works well under high pressure situations
Must have ability to multi-task and to complete assignments in a fast-paced environment
Ability to commit to work 2017-18 NBA season (September 2017 - April 2018 plus playoffs) and work home games including week nights, weekends and holidays
Must have great teamwork, communication skills, and work well with others
Candidates must be able to maintain concentration and focus over long hours
Must be able to carry and operate heavy camera equipment and related gear over long hours and, sometimes, long distances
Pushing/pulling/carrying and lifting may include up to 50 lbs.
